Which scent/fragrance to get?
Please view our scent guide for details on the candle ingredients. We also have a very detailed description for each fragrance when viewing item in the shop.
Are free samples available?
At this time, we do not offer free samples. In the future, we plan to offer smaller candles in the shop that would be suitable as a trial fragrance before ordering a larger, full size candle in the desired fragrance. Join our newsletter to be updated when new items hit the shop.
How long will my candle stay fresh and what is the best way to store them?
The shelf life (freshness) of a candle is long, if taken care of properly. The longer candles sit (aren’t being burned), the greater the smell of the fragrance when lit. Candles also can be stored just about anywhere. Be sure to avoid getting water in the wax if using your candle in the bathroom or near a sink or faucet.
Can I reuse the candle jar/glass?
Once you have finished burning your candle, you can reuse the glass or jar that the candle was created in. Be sure to clean it out fully and reuse it for things around the house or office like, make up brushes, pencil holder, misc. notes, or more.
Candle Care:
When first lighting your candle, let it burn until you have a melting pool, (a completely melted candle surface). This will prevent tunneling of your candle. Burn candle(s) for up to 4 hours max, within sight. Only place lit candles on heat-resistant surfaces & away from anything flammable. Always trim the wick before each use for a clean burn.
Are the fragrances uses, phthalate-free?
Yes, all Scented Solace’s fragrances are phatalate-free. We hand-select fragrances and make sure their composition is phthalates free at time of order and follow all safety guidelines listed on our vendors sites.
Out of stock candles. When will it be back in stock?
If the Scented Solace candle you want is currently listed on the site as “OUT OF STOCK”, you are welcome to do one of two things. 1) send us an email at info@scentedsolace.com to inquire about the restock date of that fragrance or 2) sign up for our newsletter where you will also get frequent updates about all future restocks. We will also be sure to answer any questions left on our social media pages if you leave one.
